14B-30-3003 Elevator emergency operations.
The provisions of Section 3003 of IBC are adopted by reference with the following modifications:
1.   Revise section 3003.2 to read:
"3003.2 Fire fighters’ emergency operation.
Elevators shall be provided with Phase I emergency recall operation and Phase II emergency in-car operation in accordance with Chapters 3 and 4 of the Chicago Conveyance Device Code."
2.   Revise section 3003.3 to read:
"3003.3 Standardized fire service elevator keys.
All elevators shall be equipped to operate with a standardized fire service elevator key in accordance with the Chicago Conveyance Device Code."
