(c) As a condition of any bond permitted under subsection (b), the owner and operator of the truck shall indemnify and hold the city harmless from all suits, claims, damages, or proceedings of any kind for injury to persons or damage to public or private property caused, in whole or part, by the operation of the vehicle in violation of any weight limitations imposed by this chapter, or any term or condition of a permit issued under 9-72-070.
