7-42-040 Request for time extension.
   (a)   After the owner receives a notice of a violation from the Department of Health, as evidenced by the inspection report, but before the allotted time has elapsed for compliance, the owner may request an extension in writing. The Commissioner of Health may promulgate rules to administer this subsection.
   (b)   Nothing in this section shall prevent the Commissioner from immediately suspending a license or permit pursuant to Section 7-42-035 or seeking an enforcement action pursuant to Section 7-42-085.
