It shall be unlawful for any physician to put a wrong or false date on any order or prescription for any carbolic acid, or any extract or product thereof, or any preparation or compound of which it is an element or ingredient, or to wilfully give any such order or prescription containing any false statement or representation of any fact or matter therein, or to give any such order or prescription for a dose or quantity greater than usual or necessary for bona fide purposes to cure or prevent sickness or disease.
