7-24-094 Delivery to persons under 18 years of age on school grounds.
   Except as authorized by law, any person, 18 years of age or over, who, upon the grounds of a public or private elementary, vocational, junior high, or high school, possesses a hypodermic needle with the intent to deliver, furnish or transfer the hypodermic needle, knowing, or under circumstances where one reasonably should know, that it will be used by a person under 18 years of age to inject into the human body any controlled substance in violation of the Illinois Controlled Substances Act, shall be fined $2,000.00 or punished by imprisonment for a period of six months, or by both such fine and imprisonment.
