For purpose of this chapter:
"Wholesale" means, except where specifically given a different meaning, sales for the purpose of resale, or for use by manufacturers, contractors, trades, railroads, public service corporations and institutions, or for the supplying of branch or general establishments from a central depot or store.
"Wholesale drug, chemical or paint store" means any building, room, place or establishment where any chemicals, paints and oils, as enumerated in Section 4-224-002(c) of this Code, or any medicines, drugs, therapeutic preparations, druggists' sundries, physicians' supplies, chemicals or other articles are sold, offered for sale or kept with the intention of selling, at wholesale, in the city.
