2-12-080 Deputy city clerk – Appointment – Powers and duties.
   There is hereby created the office of deputy city clerk. The city clerk shall appoint said deputy city clerk who shall, during the disability or absence of the city clerk, have and exercise the powers and duties of the city clerk (except as restricted by law to be exercised by the city clerk only) and shall at all times have and exercise such powers and duties as may be assigned to the deputy city clerk by the city clerk.
