These landscaping regulations are adopted for the purpose of protecting public health, safety, welfare, and property values by preserving existing vegetation and planting of new materials; providing privacy from visual intrusion, light, dirt, and noise; preventing the erosion of soil; providing water recharge areas; and improving the quality of the environment and attractiveness of the City of Canton. This regulation shall apply to all properties in all districts, but shall not apply to single-family or duplex residential uses.
