Whoever owns, operates or conducts a general construction business or procures a general construction contract without a license pursuant to this chapter, or who violates any of the provisions of this chapter, or having had the license suspended or revoked and continues to engage in such business, is guilty of a misdemeanor in the first degree. Each such violation shall be deemed a separate offense.
