1312.06 REGISTRATION SUSPENSION OR REVOCATION; RECORDS AND HEARING.
   (a)   Suspension or Revocation. Any registration issued under this chapter may be suspended or revoked by written order of the Chief Building Official for any of the following:
      (1)   Violation of any section of the Ohio Revised Code or City ordinances relating to building, construction or home solicitation sales.
      (2)   For any failure to immediately, upon receiving notice from the Chief Building Official or his designee, repair or correct any work previously done which may be found in any respect to be defective or unlawful.
      (3)   If the registration was obtained by misrepresentation or fraud.
      (4)   If the business transactions of the contractor and/or of the salesman have been marked by a practice of failure to satisfactorily perform its contracts.
      (5)   If there is material misrepresentation or fraud connected with the performance of any general trades contract.
      (6)   If the contractor is delinquent in the payment of City income taxes, including any obligation to pay taxes withheld from employees under Codified Ordinance Sections 182.05, et. seq. and any payment on net profits under Section 182.06, et. seq. where the contractor's certificate of compliance issued by the Treasurer or the Canton Income Tax Department is revoked or suspended.
   (b)   Records/Violations. The Chief Building Official or his designee shall keep a record showing the date, name of licensee, location, and owner or person in control of property where any work is performed contrary to City of Canton Building Code requirements. The Chief Building Official or his designee shall provide written notice to the licensee of such defects and the licensee or person responsible for the job shall immediately correct such defects. If the licensee claims that the work or material on the job is proper, he shall within twenty four hours after receipt of notice from the Chief Building Official or his designee, appeal his determination to the Canton Construction Board. There shall be a reinspection of the job and licensee shall be notified of the results of the second inspection. If the licensee is dissatisfied with the report of the second inspector, the Board shall, upon written application of the licensee made within forty eight hours after the second notice, give the licensee a hearing and the decision of the Board shall be final. The licensee shall thereafter immediately correct the defects determined by the Board to exist or be subject to suspension or revocation of his license pursuant to subsection (a) hereof.
