The City hereby adopts the current edition of the State of Ohio Plumbing Code, as set forth in Chapter 4101:3 of the Ohio Administrative Code, and any additions or amendments as may be hereinafter adopted and promulgated which shall be applicable for both residential and commercial structures in the City, with the following additional requirements or exceptions:

(a) Minimum size water service piping from the curb box to the meter horn, except for replacement, shall be one inch.
(b) A meter horn shall be installed for one-inch or smaller service lines. The location of the meter shall be subject to the approval of the City Water Department.
(c) A floor drain shall be installed at all wall hung urinals. One floor drain may serve three urinals on a waterproof floor.
(d) No portion of the drainage system installed underground shall be less than two inches in diameter. Underground floor drains shall be four inches.
(e) All gas piping shall conform to the gas utility's company standards.
(f) No used equipment shall be installed unless such equipment is first approved by the Plumbing Inspector.
(g) Thermostat or pressure balance controlled mixing device for shower compartments and shower-bath combinations, pursuant to Ohio Administrative Code 4101:2-51- 30, shall not be required in one-, two or three-family dwellings.
