(a) Each employer shall provide to employees who may be exposed to hazardous or toxic chemicals an employee training and education program which shall be provided to all such employees not later than ninety (90) days from the effective date of this subsection (a). The program shall additionally be provided to all new employees within five (5) working days of their first employment, to all employees assigned into new jobs exposed to hazardous or toxic chemicals within five (5) working days of their new job assignment and to all employees with previous training whenever a new or previously unidentified hazardous or toxic chemical is introduced into their work area. In the latter instance, the training program shall be limited to information concerning the new or previously unidentified hazardous or toxic chemical only. Each employee training and education program shall provide as a minimum the following information:

(1) The hazards of the chemicals to which they may be exposed in their work place;
(2) The hazard communication methods (labels, placards, Material Safety Data Sheets, etc.) used by the employer;
(3) Appropriate work practices;
(4) Protective measures;
(5) Emergency procedures;
(6) The means by which employees can receive information under this chapter. The specific hazards and circumstances of each work area should be taken into account in determining both the complexity of the content and the frequency of repetition of the required training and education program.
(b) The employer shall provide employees with or post a copy of Section 777.16 dealing with employee rights.

(c) The employer shall maintain written records substantiating the dates, times and names of employees who have been provided employee training and education programs pursuant to this section. Such records shall be made available to the Fire Department, upon request, for the purpose of insuring compliance with this section.
