761.01 COMMERCIAL HAULER’S LICENSE.
   No person shall engage in the business of hauling rubbish unless he first obtains a license from the Director of Public Safety. The fee for a license shall be one hundred dollars ($100.00) annually for each truck or conveyance. Such license shall be issued on or before April 1 of each year. Nothing contained herein shall be applicable to an individual, firm or corporation transporting their own rubbish or refuse from their business establishment and not engaging in the business of hauling refuse and rubbish for other individuals, firms, businesses, partnerships and corporations. Any change of ownership of a licensed commercial hauler shall automatically terminate the license. The sale, transfer or assignment of a hauler’s license shall likewise automatically terminate such license.

761.02 METAL TAG TO BE ATTACHED TO EACH VEHICLE.
   All commercial haulers shall be given a license plate or metal tag which must be attached to the upper left side of the truck or whatever vehicle is being used for the conveyance of rubbish, and as far forward as practical, consistent with the design of such vehicle and shall be visible at all times. Only the current plate shall be so attached; all expired plates must be removed.

761.03 SUSPENSION AND REVOCATION OF LICENSE.
   Any commercial hauler who violates any provision of this chapter shall have his license suspended or revoked by the Director of Public Safety. In the event of a suspension or revocation, the licensee may appeal the suspension or revocation with the License Appeals Board.

761.04 PRIVATE COLLECTION PERMITTED.
   Any person may take his own rubbish to the dump in his own conveyance provided, the conveyance used for transportation complies with Section 339.08 of the Traffic Code.

761.99 PENALTY.
   Whoever violates any provision of this chapter shall be fined not more than one hundred dollars ($100.00).
