It is hereby declared to be the continuing policy of the City of Canton, to do all things and take such action as may be necessary and proper, within constitutional limitations, to assure all its residents of equal and fair housing opportunities regardless of race, color, religion, national origin, sex, ancestry, handicap, familial status, military status, sexual orientation or gender identity.
