1. One copy of each of the Model Construction Codes adopted by the city, as set forth in § 4-1 herein is on file in the office of the City Clerk-Treasurer.
2. The provisions of the codes set forth in § 4-1 shall be held to be the minimum requirements adopted for the promotion of the public health, safety and general welfare. Whenever any of the provisions or requirements of the codes are inconsistent with the provisions of the city code of ordinances or state statutes, the provisions or requirements containing the most restrictive regulation shall govern within the corporate limits of the city.
