AMENDED UNSAFE BUILDING LAW
§ 150.01 TITLE.
   The Town hereby adopts I.C. 36-7-9, which establishes the Amended Unsafe Building Law and explicitly incorporates by reference the definition of “substantial property interested” as set out in I.C. 36-7-9.

§ 150.02 ADMINISTRATION.
   The Brownsburg Development Services Department shall be the executive department authorized to administer this subchapter.

§ 150.03 CONSTRUCTION.
   Any reference to a state statute shall mean the statute as amended from time to time, or any similar statutory provision that may supersede it relating to the same or similar subject matter.

§ 150.04 DEFINITIONS.
   For the purposes of this chapter, the following definitions are added to give additional clarification to definitions set out in I.C. 36-7-9:
   DEPARTMENT. The Brownsburg Development Services Department.
   ENFORCEMENT AUTHORITY. The enforcement authority to enforce the provision of this subchapter as well as those provision adopted by reference shall be the Town of Brownsburg’s Building Commissioner or their designee.
   HEARING AUTHORITY. The Town of Brownsburg Town Council.
   SUBSTANTIAL PROPERTY INTEREST. Any right in real property that may be affected in a substantial way by actions authorized by this chapter, including a fee interest, a life estate interest, a future interest, a mortgage interest, or an equitable interest of a contract purchaser.
