Whoever violates any provision of this chapter shall, for a first offense, be guilty of a misdemeanor of the third degree and shall be fined not more than five hundred dollars ($500.00) or imprisoned not more than sixty days, or both. Any person convicted of a subsequent violation of this chapter shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor of the first degree and shall be fined not more than one thousand dollars ($1,000) or imprisoned not more than six months, or both. Such person shall be deemed guilty of a separate offense for each and every day or portions thereof during which any violation of any of the provisions of this chapter is committed, permitted or continued.
