The Board of Public Affairs is hereby authorized to employ a Superintendent of Electricity to manage, operate and look after electrical distribution system and other work in connection with the electric light system of the village, and when not so engaged in this work, to perform any other work designated by the Village Council or Mayor of the village, and the said Superintendent shall be required to install and keep a telephone in his or her residence.
