The granting or issuance of any license under the provisions of chapter 1, article A of this title, and this chapter, shall not be construed in any manner as granting or providing any additional or further power of arrest than that granted under the provisions of the Statutes of the State, and the provisions of this Code, nor shall the provisions of this chapter be construed in any manner as authority or power to carry weapons contrary to the Statutes of the State.
