§ 119.034 EQUIPMENT AND OPERATING REGULATIONS.
   (A)   No owner, proprietor, lessee, manager or superintendent of any motor vehicle repair shop or motor vehicle salesroom shall cause, permit or allow the same or any portion thereof to be over-crowded or inadequate, faulty or insufficient with respect to light, ventilation, heat and cleanliness. Fresh air shall be supplied by ventilation in accordance with the city building ordinances.
   (B)   Every motor vehicle repair shop or motor vehicle salesroom shall be kept in clean condition and free as far as practicable from all gases, vapors, dust or other impurities which are injurious to health and generated by manufacturing processes or the operation of motors or other machinery.
   (C)   Sufficient and separate properly ventilated water closets shall be provided for male and female employees.
   (D)   Lockers for workers’ clothing shall be made of metal in a motor vehicle repair shop.
   (E)   Every motor vehicle repair shop where any spraying of paint or other combustible or flammable liquids is conducted at any time shall be equipped with a spray booth meeting the construction requirements of the Fire Prevention Code (see § 150.029), published by the American Insurance Association, adopted by the city.
   (F)   All used vehicle tires shall be stored in an enclosed area of each motor vehicle repair shop. If the place of storage is located outside a building, it shall be enclosed by a chain link fence a minimum of eight feet high and equipped with locked gates. All other damaged automobile parts and automobile equipment to be discarded shall be stored within an enclosed building.
   (G)   Every motor vehicle repair shop shall be equipped with drains that are intercepted before entering the city sanitary sewer system by three cast iron basins in line called garage basins. Each basin being a minimum of 20 inches in diameter and 30 inches in depth, and must be vented by a two-inch pipe through the roof.
   (H)   A motor vehicle repair shop shall be permitted to operate only between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 9:00 p.m. of each day.
   (I)   In the operation of a motor vehicle repair shop, no motor vehicle shall be permitted to be repaired on any public street, parkway, alley or sidewalk. No motor vehicle, while in the custody or control of the motor vehicle repair shop, shall be stored or parked in places prior to or after being repaired at the motor vehicle repair shop.
