(a) Purpose |
It is the purposes of this district to: (1) Preserve and protect natural and man-made water areas, flood plains, marshes, and wetlands from development other than open spaces or recreational uses; (2) Preserve and protect agricultural districts, and/or wildlife habitats; (3) Limit residential and commercial development and encourage design that preserves natural environments; (4) Retain natural drainage patterns; and (5) Preserve and protect the values of distinctive, geologic, topographic, botanic, historic, or scenic areas. |
