No building permit shall be issued for the erection of any building or structure which does not comply with the provisions of the Bartlett zoning ordinance, the Bartlett subdivision and PUD ordinance (the "Bartlett subdivision ordinance"), and this village code as may be applicable and from time to time in effect. The issuance of a building permit does not assure the applicant that the proposed building, structure or its use conforms to all applicable regulations and ordinances noted above. If such assurance is required, the applicant should obtain a written opinion from the planning and development services director. It is the responsibility of the applicant to determine and comply with all codes, ordinances of the village and all federal, state, county and other local laws, statutes, ordinances, rules and regulations that may be applicable to any demolition, building construction, or development project within the corporate limits of the village of Bartlett, and to obtain all necessary permits and/or approvals prior to commencing any work.
