2-1-1: APPOINTMENT AND COMPOSITION:
There is hereby established a Board of Local Improvements which shall be comprised of the Village President and all members of the Board of Trustees.
2-1-2: OFFICERS OF THE BOARD:
   A.   President: The Village President shall be the president of the Board of Local Improvements.
   B.   Engineer: The Village Engineer shall be the engineer of the Board of Local Improvements.
   C.   Secretary: The Village Clerk shall be the secretary of the Board of Local Improvements. She shall keep all records pertaining to the activities of such Board and shall perform such other duties as may be required of her by the Board or by statute or ordinance.
   D.   Attorney: The Village Attorney shall be the attorney of the Board of Local Improvements.
2-1-3: POWERS AND DUTIES; PROCEDURES:
In making local improvements by special assessment, the Board of Local Improvements and the President and Board of Trustees shall have those powers and duties and shall follow those procedures set forth in chapter 24, division 2 of article 9, Illinois Municipal Code, as amended prior to the effective date hereof. Said division 2 is hereby adopted by reference, not less than one copy of such division having been on file in the office of the Village Clerk for a period of fifteen (15) days prior to the effective date hereof.
The Board of Local Improvements and the President and Board of Trustees shall have all the powers and duties set forth in said statute incorporated herein by reference.
2-1-4: RECORDS:
The Board of Local Improvements shall keep accurate records of all work undertaken by it, showing the work undertaken, the work accomplished, the expenditures made and the amount of money received. (Ord. 75-14, 2-18-75)
