If a vehicle is impounded when a penalty is imposed, and no cash bond has been posted or the bond posted is insufficient to pay the full amount of the penalty imposed, the Village may seek to obtain a judgment on the debt and enforce such judgment against the vehicle as provided by law. The vehicle may be disposed of in the manner provided by law for the disposition of abandoned or unclaimed vehicles under article II, chapter 4 1 , of the Illinois Vehicle Code, and section 6-4-308 of this title and further provided all required notices have been sent in the manner provided by law.
