9-13-13: HEAT SUPPLY TO DWELLINGS AND NON- RESIDENTIAL:
Every owner and operator of any building who rents, leases or lets one or more dwelling units, rooming units, dormitories or guestrooms on terms, either express or implied, to furnish heat to the occupants thereof, shall supply sufficient heat during the period from September 1 to May 1, or as needed to maintain the room temperatures specified in section IPMC 602.2 (not less than 68 degrees).Non- residential: Every enclosed occupied workspace shall be supplied with sufficient heat during the period from September 1 through May 1 or as needed to maintain a temperature of not less than sixty-five degrees (Fahrenheit 65-F/18-C) during the work period or when the space is occupied.
