9-8-23: IBC SECTION 3007.2 MAINTENANCE ITEMS:

All operating and electrical parts and accessory equipment or devices subject to this article shall be maintained in a safe operating condition. The maintenance of elevators, dumbwaiters and escalators shall conform to ASME A17.1 listed in appendix A. (Ord. 2014-46, 6-3-2014; amd. Ord. 2020-56, 6-16-2020)
