Every applicant for a liquor license shall file with his application a joint and several bond executed by good and sufficient sureties residing or licensed to do business within the state, payable to the village in the amount of two thousand dollars ($2,000.00), said surety to be approved by the local liquor control commissioner, said bond being conditioned upon true and faithful compliance by said licensee with all of the provisions of this chapter. Provided further, that an applicant for a nonbeverage user license need not file the bond as set out in this section. (1984 Code)
