3-3-2-14: CLASS L:
Publisher's Note: This Section has been AMENDED by new legislation (Ord. 2008-88, passed 9-2-2008). The text of the amendment will be incorporated below when the ordinance is codified.
Class L licenses, which allow the licensee to sell and offer for sale at retail in the premises specified in such license, alcoholic liquor in the original package only, and not for consumption on the premises where sold, during the hours hereinafter specified.
   A.   Hours Of Operation:
 
Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday
From 10:00 A.M. to 11:00 P.M.
Friday and Saturday
From 10:00 A.M. to 12:00 midnight
 
   B.   Annual License Fees: See section 3-1-1 of this title.
   C.   Number Issued: The number of class L licenses shall be limited to 1.
   D.   Limits On License: Class L licenses shall be further limited to retail businesses: 1) operated on commercially zoned property, including property lying in the B-1 district, the B-2 district, the B-3 district, the planned development district (provided it includes a special use permit for planned unit development that provides for uses, or a combination of uses, that include permitted and/or specially permitted uses in the B-1, B-2 and/or B-3 zoning districts), or is zoned B-3 PUD; and 2) that are operated on properties located within the geographic area which lies south of North Avenue, east of Berteau Avenue, west of Western Avenue and north of Devon Avenue in the village of Bartlett.
