Class D licenses, which allow a special event retailer (as defined in section 3-3-1 of this chapter 1 ) a license to sell and offer for sale, at retail, alcoholic liquor for use or consumption, but not for resale in any form and only at the location and on the specific dates designated for the special event (as defined in section 3-3-1 of this chapter 2 ) in the license, for a time period that meets the following restrictions:
A. Hours Of Operation:
1. Not to exceed twelve (12) hours within a period of twenty four (24) consecutive hours; and
2. Within the time limits for class A licenses set forth in section 3-3-2-1 of this chapter, i.e.:
Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday | From 8:00 A.M. until 1:00 A.M. |
Friday and Saturday | From 8:00 A.M. until 2:00 A.M. |
3. Within the time limits imposed by any applicable state statute.
B. License Fee: See section 3-1-1 of this title.
C. Issuance; Time Period: A class D license may be issued at any time by the village president with the approval of the board of trustees, and shall be issued for a specific time period, not to exceed fifteen (15) days per licensee per location in any twelve (12) month period.
