(A) No service fee shall be assessed for the first three false alarms per calendar year for each alarm user.
(B) Each false alarm in a calendar year in excess of three false alarms and up to and including five false alarms, transmitted by an alarm system shall be assessed by the Director of Public Safety, or his or her designee, a service fee of $50.
(C) Each false alarm in a calendar year in excess of five false alarms transmitted by an alarm system shall be assessed by the Director of Public Safety, or his or her designee, a service fee of $100.
(D) Any alarm user whose system results in an excess of ten false alarms in any given calendar year shall discontinue the use of the system until the same is adjusted, repaired or replaced. Approval from the Director of Public Safety must be obtained before such service is reactivated.
