A Department of Taxation of the City is hereby established and the office of Administrator of such Department is hereby established. Such officer shall be appointed by Council, subject to the approval of a majority of the members of Council, and his or her duties shall be those outlined in the Income Tax Ordinance (Ordinance 35-74, passed February 11, 1974, as amended), the rules and regulations attached to such ordinance and made a part thereof, and the job description for the Tax Administrator, as the same is enacted from time to time by Council.
