8-4-2: PROHIBITIONS:
The following activities are expressly prohibited in all parks:
   A.   Climbing on roofs, trees, buildings or equipment other than play equipment specifically designed for climbing activities;
   B.   Throwing any objects other than frisbees or sports balls (baseballs, softballs, tennis balls, basketballs, badminton birdies and the like), including, but not limited to, sand, stones, sticks and woodchips;
   C.   Jumping off of or onto any equipment other than equipment that is specifically designed for such an activity, such as climbing areas or skatepark ramps;
   D.   Fires, other than charcoal or propane cooking fires in proper grill equipment;
   E.   Consumption of alcoholic beverages unless a proper permit is first obtained from the parks director;
   F.   Snowmobiles, dirt bikes, scooters, so called "pocket bikes", all-terrain vehicles and any other gasoline powered equipment that is not licensed for on street driving by the Illinois secretary of state;
   G.   Driving any licensed vehicle on any area other than the roads, parking lots and driveways provided in the parks for such purposes;
   H.   It is strictly forbidden to rollerskate, in-line skate, skateboard or ride a bicycle or scooter on any tennis court, basketball court, pavilion area, bench, picnic table or other park equipment, provided however, that skateboards, bicycles and in-line skates may be used only in the designated skatepark in strict accordance with posted rules for the use of such equipment;
   I.   Driving any licensed vehicle on any road or parking lot in any park at a speed greater than ten (10) miles per hour;
   J.   Driving any licensed vehicle larger than a one ton pickup truck in any park unless the same is being used at that time to maintain, improve or operate that park;
   K.   Disobeying any regulatory sign posted on the roadways by the parks department to regulate traffic within any park;
   L.   Repairing any vehicle within any park except for minor repairs to any vehicle which, after entering the parks and properties, breaks down, such as changing a flat tire;
   M.   Hindering any village employee from performing his or her duties within any park;
   N.   Offering any articles for sale, exchange or barter within any park except when authorized by special permit from the village board;
   O.   Advertising any product or service within any park by distributing fliers, using loudspeakers or other means, except when authorized by special permit from the village board;
   P.   Harming any animal or bird;
   Q.   Planting any vegetation or removing any vegetation without the express public consent of the village board or park commission;
   R.   Marking, defacing or otherwise damaging any park equipment, building, roadway, parking area, washroom or portable toilet, plant, structure or facility;
   S.   Sleeping in any park overnight;
   T.   Obstructing the flow of traffic or the free passage of any person moving lawfully within any park;
   U.   Dumping any articles of any kind within any park;
   V.   Entering into any restricted area of any park;
   W.   Being intoxicated while in any park or under the influence of illegal drugs;
   X.   Having a blood alcohol content greater than 0.08 percent while in any park;
   Y.   Creating any excessive and unnecessary noise or otherwise disturbing the peace while within any park; (Ord. 05-02-02, 2-7-2005)
   Z.   Parking of any motorized vehicle owned by any person or entity other than the village of Antioch in any park at any time that the park is not open. (Ord. 12-07-14, 7-16-2012)
