7-3-5: OFF STREET PARKING ZONES:
   A.   Off Street Parking Zones:
      1.   Zones Established: There are established the following zones within the village which shall be known and designated as off street parking zones:
         a.   Part of lot 53 in County Clerk's Subdivision, between Broadway Street and the Antioch Shopping Plaza, except the north fifty feet (50') thereof, with ingress and egress from and to Broadway Street and Orchard Street.
         b.   The north fifty feet (50') of that part of lot 53 in County Clerk's Subdivision between Broadway Street and the Antioch Shopping Plaza.
         c.   Lot 57 (except the south 25 feet of the east 140.9 feet thereof) and parts of lots 58, 59, 60, 62, and 65 of County Clerk's Subdivision of unsubdivided lands in the village according to the plat thereof, recorded June 20, 1907, as Document 112577, in book "G" of plats, page 76; also that part of lot 53 in said County Clerk's Subdivision described as follows, to-wit: Commencing at the northwest corner of lot 57, County Clerk's Subdivision aforesaid; thence westerly along the northerly line of lot 57 produced sixty feet (60'); thence southerly to a point on the northerly line of lot 58 in said County Clerk's Subdivision 17.2 feet easterly of the northwest corner thereof; thence easterly on said northerly line to the southwest corner of lot 57 aforesaid; thence northerly along the westerly line of lot 57 to the place of beginning, all in Lake County, Illinois.
      2.   Two Hour Parking Limit: Except on Sundays or holidays, it shall be unlawful to park any vehicle or to permit a vehicle to remain parked in the off street parking zones herein designated in subsections A1a and A1c of this section for a period longer than two (2) hours in any three (3) hour period between the hours of eight o'clock (8:00) A.M. and six o'clock (6:00) P.M. of any day, except Friday when the hours shall be from eight o'clock (8:00) A.M. to nine o'clock (9:00) P.M.
      3.   Twelve Hour Parking Limit: It shall be unlawful to park any vehicle or to permit a vehicle to remain parked in the off street parking zone herein designated in subsection A1b of this section for a period longer than twelve (12) hours in any thirteen (13) hour period on any day.
      4.   Exemptions: The chief of police is authorized to issue a parking permit to the residents or occupant of buildings adjoining the off street parking zone herein designated in subsection A1c of this section the number of such permits not to exceed four (4) for each such building.
   B.   Time Limit: It shall be unlawful for the operator of any vehicle to park such vehicle for longer than two (2) hours at any time between the hours of eight o'clock (8:00) A.M. and nine o'clock (9:00) P.M. of any day, except Sundays and public holidays, on the east two hundred feet (200') of that part of lot 53 in County Clerk's Subdivision lying west of Broadway Avenue, also known as the east two hundred feet (200') of the municipal parking lot in the village. Suitable signs may be erected and maintained and suitable markings may be erected and maintained for the purpose of regulating the parking of vehicles in accordance with this subsection B.
   C.   Parking Restriction:
      1.   Restriction: The two (2) hour maximum restriction for parking in the municipal parking lot on the east side of Main Street, located adjacent to the businesses at 945 Main Street, is hereby changed from two (2) hours to four (4) hours, effective as of September 7, 1993. The parking restriction affects approximately twenty (20) parking stalls.
   D.   Moving Of Vehicle: A vehicle shall be deemed to be parked in violation of any such limitation if it is moved with the purpose of evading such parking time limitation to another parking space located within five hundred feet (500') from the closest point of the parking space at which such vehicle shall have been so first parked.
