A. Removal Required: The owner, occupant or lessee of any premises in the village shall remove from the premises, or otherwise dispose of, all garbage and rubbish, and shall keep the premises at all times free and clear of any accumulation of refuse. (1976 Code § 93.040)
B. Containers Required:
1. The owner, occupant or lessee of any premises in the village shall provide and maintain clean and in good condition and repair, standard garbage and refuse containers for the temporary storage of all garbage and refuse accumulated between collections.
2. A receptacle for garbage and rubbish shall be of adequate strength, shall be water tight, shall be a capacity of not more than thirty (30) gallons, and shall be securely covered or fastened.
3. All receptacles shall be placed outside the residence or other building in an accessible place, at ground level, near the street or curb line not earlier than the evening preceding the designated day of collection.
4. No receptacle used for the storage, collection and removal of garbage, rubbish or other refuse shall be placed so as to constitute a nuisance to adjacent property or the occupants thereof. (1976 Code § 93.041)
C. Dumping Prohibited: No person shall throw, place, leave or suffer to be thrown, placed or left, any garbage, rubbish or other refuse upon any street, parkway or other public place or upon any vacant or unimproved lot parcel of land in the village. (1976 Code § 93.042)
