A. Any protection activities shall proceed in accordance with statewide permit no. 9 authorizing minor shoreline and stream bank protection activities, issued by the state of Illinois department of transportation, office of water resources, dated October 1, 1986, which regulation is hereby adopted and incorporated by this reference as a part of this code regulating the issuance of such permits.
B. The director of planning, zoning and building is authorized to adopt a special set of instructions and regulations which are consistent with the terms of statewide permit no. 9. (Ord. 88-12-39, 12-5-1988)
