§ 4-5.1502 SIGNS ERECTED TO DESIGNATE SPEED LIMITS.
   The City Traffic Engineer is directed to have signs erected upon the streets at appropriate locations giving notice of the limits established by § 4-5.1501 of this article.

§ 4-5.1503 REGULATION OF SPEED BY TRAFFIC SIGNALS.
   The City Traffic Engineer is authorized to regulate the timing of traffic signals so as to permit the movement of traffic in an orderly and safe manner at speeds slightly at variance from speeds otherwise applicable within the district or intersections and shall erect appropriate signs giving notice thereof.

ARTICLE 16: VIOLATIONS; PENALTIES
§ 4-5.1601 VIOLATION; PENALTY.
   Any person violating any of the provisions of this chapter shall be guilty of an infraction or a misdemeanor in accordance with the definitions and procedures set forth in Cal. Veh. Code Division 17 of Chapter I of Article 1 (commencing with § 40000). Upon conviction thereof, such person shall be punished in accordance with the penalties and procedures set forth in Cal. Veh. Code Division 17 of Chapter I of Article 1 (commencing with § 42001).
