The Chief of Police or any member of his Department designated by him is hereby authorized to remove or have removed any vehicle left in any place within the village in violation of this chapter. Such vehicles shall be impounded until lawfully claimed or disposed of in accordance with the provisions of R.C. §§ 737.32, 737.33, 737.331. Any person desiring to redeem such impounded vehicle shall first pay to the village a basic charge of $10 plus $l per day for the time the impounded vehicle is in storage, and may be assessed a cost for towing services other than those described above, and in addition thereto, shall pay for any services performed by the village in order to properly maintain the impounded vehicle.
