(A) Any person violating any provision of this chapter for which no specific penalty is prescribed shall be subject to § 10.999 of this code of ordinances.
(B) (1) Any person who violates any provision of § 72.003 of this chapter is responsible for a municipal civil infraction and shall pay a fine and costs (including all direct and indirect expenses incurred by the city) not to exceed $500 payable to the city’s General Fund. Failure to answer a citation or notice to appear constitutes a misdemeanor.
(2) In addition to the fines and costs that are required under division (B)(1) above, any vehicle that is parked or stored in violation of § 72.003 of this chapter on a residential lot is deemed to be illegally parked and may be removed or towed away by the city’s Police Department in conformance with the abandoned vehicle ordinance of the city. Any towing and storage fees will be the owner’s responsibility once the vehicle is towed and shall be paid before the vehicle is released.

(C) Any person found responsible under § 72.009 of this chapter shall be assessed a minimum fine of $25.

(D) Any person who violates § 72.012 of this chapter is responsible for a civil infraction. In addition to any fines and costs that may be assessed, any vehicle parked in violation of § 72.012 of this chapter may be removed or towed away by the city’s Police Department. Any towing and storage fees will be the owner’s responsibility once the vehicle is towed and shall be paid before the motor vehicle is released.

(E) Unauthorized use of a disabled parking space by a vehicle not identified as required under § 72.026 of this chapter shall be subject to towing away and impoundment at the owner’s expense and liability. A mandatory minimum fine of $100 shall be assessed for any parking infraction under § 72.026 of this chapter.
