§ 10.999 GENERAL PENALTY.
   (A)   Unless another penalty is expressly provided by this code for any particular provision or section, every person convicted of a violation of any provision of this code shall be punished by a fine of not more than $500, or by imprisonment for not more than 93 days, or by both such fine and imprisonment. Each act of violation and every day upon which any such violation shall occur shall constitute a separate offense.
   (B)   In addition to the penalties provided in division (A) above, the city may enjoin or abate any violation of this code by appropriate action.
   (C)   Any person who is found responsible for any civil infraction, municipal civil infraction or city ordinance resulting from the enforcement of a city ordinance shall be required to pay a fee of $15 in addition to any other civil fine and court cost imposed. This provision shall not apply to parking tickets.
   (D)   All such fees collected from those remitting payments under this section shall be directed to the city’s 27th District Court to be utilized in the following manner:
      (1)   Five dollars directed for Court operations;
      (2)   Five dollars directed for police equipment and technology; and
      (3)   Five dollars directed for Police and Court Facility Building Fund and maintenance.
