(A) Rules and regulations governing motor vehicles. The rules and regulations pertaining to permits issued under § 92.22 shall pertain to all permits issued under this section, except as otherwise specified.
(B) Permit required. Any person desiring to use a mechanical loudspeaker or amplifier on any truck or any other vehicle shall apply to the City Secretary for a permit to operate the loudspeaker equipment or amplifier.
(C) Areas and time of operation.
(1) The holder of any permit issued pursuant to this subchapter shall be permitted to operate as herein defined, and the operation of any such mechanical speaker or amplifier on trucks or other vehicles shall be permitted only between the hours of 9:00 am. and 8:00 p.m. on Monday through Saturday.
(2) No mechanical speaker or amplifier on trucks or other vehicles shall be operated on Sunday without the approval of the City Manager or his or her designee.
