Association identification signs shall be permitted for the purpose of establishing a common neighborhood or complex identification when there exists an owners’ association that provides for the maintenance of the sign and structures. Such association shall not be disbanded or terminated without the City’s consent. Such signs shall be extensively landscaped with trees, plantings, and natural features. Such signs may incorporate fountains, fences, or similar features. Association identification sign area shall not exceed 40 square feet. The minimum setback required of association identification signs shall be height of the sign. The maximum height of the sign shall be eight feet. Association identification signs shall be dominated with materials of permanency and strength, such as brick or stone.
