§ 34-4-12 WATER.
   When provided, each lot in the subdivision shall be provided at the property line with a connection to the private or public water system. The construction of the water system shall conform to the approved plans and specifications, and all work shall be properly inspected and approved by the city. Gate valves, air release valves, cap and block details, bedding, and water tracer line details shall be shown on the plans. The subdivision developer shall pay all costs for installing the water system shown on the approved plans in accordance with the requirements of the city. Water mains shall be installed in easements adjoining roadways unless City Council warrants otherwise. Water lines and appurtenances shall comply with the requirements of IEPA, Standard Specifications for Water and Sewer Main Construction in Illinois, and the City of Waterloo Construction Details. All proposed connections with existing systems shall be properly designed with the capacities of the existing systems taken into consideration.
