2-10-4: CONFIDENTIALITY ISSUES:
No member of the commission or its staff shall disclose the filing of a complaint, the information gathered during the investigation, or the endeavors to eliminate such discriminatory or unfair practice by conference, conciliation or persuasion, unless such disclosure is made in connection with the conduct of an investigation or after public hearing is scheduled or district court action is commenced upon a complaint filed as provided in title 5, chapter 3 of this code. This section does not prevent any complainant, respondent, witness or other person involved in the matter complained of from disclosing information known to them, provided that such person is not a member of the commission or its staff. Any violation of this section shall be punishable by a fine not to exceed one hundred dollars ($100.00). (Ord. 4871, 5-29-2007)
