884.04   DISPLAY OF DRIVER'S LICENSE AND PICTURE.
   At all times there shall be on display inside the taxi, in such a position that it may be viewed by a passenger, a current, accurate picture of the driver of the taxi and also his or her current and valid State chauffeur's license or his or her current and valid taxi driver's license issued by any other Ohio municipality. The driver shall, upon request of a police officer, passenger or prospective passenger, display his or her State chauffeur's license.

884.05   IDENTIFICATION OF CAB.
   On the outside of both sides of a taxicab, on the door, there shall be painted the word "taxi". In addition, an outside-lighted roof sign shall also indicate such identification. Such word may be used and appear along with other words painted on the outside of the cab.

884.06   EXCEPTIONS.
   This chapter shall not apply to motor vehicles used exclusively for service at weddings, christenings or funerals or for ambulance work.

884.99   PENALTY.
   Whoever violates any of the provisions of this chapter is guilty of a misdemeanor of the first degree and shall be fined not more than one thousand dollars (1,000) or imprisoned not more than six months, or both.
