As used in this chapter, the words "taxicab", "taxi" or "cab" mean any motor-driven vehicle engaged in the business of carrying passengers for hire or fare, or offered for hire or fare to the public for transportation, and operating within the Village, except motor busses operated on regular schedules and regularly established routes.
