705.09 REMOVAL OF CERTAIN ADVERTISEMENTS.
   Upon the display of any advertisement, sign, circular, poster or card, as referred to in Section 705.06(a) and (b), for which a license or renewal of license has not been obtained, or for which the requisite license fee has not been paid, the Director of Finance shall notify the owner or person in possession of the premises on which the display occurs to remove the display within ten days from the date of the notice, and unless it is removed within a ten-day period, the owner or person in possession of the premises shall be deemed to be engaged in displaying the same, and shall be subject to all the provisions of Sections 705.02 to 705.11. However, the advertiser shall not thereby be relieved from liability under the provisions of Section 705.02 to 705.11; and further, if the display is not so removed within the ten-day period, in addition to all other remedies and penalties, the Mayor may cause the removal of the display.
