(a) When, in case of fire, the Division of Fire has established fire lines, no person, except a member of the Police or Fire Division, shall pass within the fire lines unless authorized to do so by a police officer or the Director of Public Safety.
(b) Whoever violates this section is guilty of a misdemeanor of the fourth degree.

(a) Conduct of Members of Civil Service Commission. No member of the Civil Service Commission shall willfully or negligently violate any of the provisions of the statutes of Ohio, ordinances of the City or rules and regulations of the Civil Service Commission of Toledo.
(b) Regulations. No employee or officer of the City, or any other person, shall willfully or corruptly by himself or in cooperation with one or more persons, defeat, deceive or obstruct any person with respect to his or her right of examination, appointment or employment in the classified service of the City, or any rules or regulations prescribed by the Civil Service Commission pursuant to the Charter or ordinances of the City or the statutes of the State; or falsely mark, grade, estimate or report upon the examination or proper standing of any person examined, registered or certified pursuant to the provisions of the Charter or ordinances of the City or the statutes of the State with reference to civil service examinations, or aid in so doing; or willfully or corruptly make any false representations concerning any civil service examination of the City, or concerning any person examined; or willfully or corruptly furnish to any person any special or secret information for the purpose of improving or injuring the prospects or chances of any person examined, registered or certified, or to be examined, registered or certified in connection with civil service or a position in the classified service in the City; or impersonate any other person, or permit or aid in any manner any person to impersonate him in connection with any examination, registration or appointment, or application or request to be examined, registered or appointed in the civil service or classified service of the City; or furnish any false information about himself, or any other person in connection with any examination, registration or request to be examined, registered or appointed to the civil service or classified service of the City.
(c) Illegal Appointment. After a rule has been duly established and published by the Civil Service Commission according to the provisions of the Charter of the City, no person shall make an appointment to office or select a person for employment contrary to the provisions of such rule, or willfully violate any of the civil service provisions of the Charter of the City.
(d) Misdemeanor Classification. Whoever violates this section is guilty of a misdemeanor of the first degree. If any person so convicted shall hold any public office or place of public employment in the City such office or position shall, by virtue of such conviction be rendered vacant.

(a) No policeman, watchman, detective, constable, marshal or any other person other than a regular member of the Department of Police Operations of the City shall wear any uniform, badge, cap emblem, or buttons, the same as or closely simulating those worn by members of the City Department of Police Operations.

(b) Whoever violates this section is guilty of a misdemeanor of the fourth degree.
(a) For the purpose of locating stolen motor vehicles and/or stolen motor vehicle parts, the Chief of Police or his authorized representative may inspect any motor vehicle, as defined in Ohio R.C. 4501.01 and may inspect any motor vehicle part that has been marked with an identifying number by the manufacturer, situated in the City, in any public garage, community garage, storage garage, service garage, repair shop, parking lot, auto sales lot, vehicle leasing or rental lot, motor vehicle salvage facility, scrap metal processing facility, auto wrecking yard, junk yard or other similar establishment, and may inspect the title, registration, vehicle identification number or license plates of the vehicle in order to establish the rightful ownership or possession of the vehicle or vehicle part.
(b) For the purpose of locating a stolen vehicle, the Chief of Police or his authorized representative may inspect implements of husbandry and construction equipment in places described in subsection (a) hereof.
(c) Whenever possible, inspections conducted pursuant to subsection (a) or (b) hereof shall be conducted at a time and in a manner so as to minimize any interference with, or delay of, business operations.
(d) No person, without privilege to do so and with purpose to prevent, obstruct or delay the performance of a police officer from inspecting any place described in subsection (a) hereof, shall do any act which hampers or impedes a police officer from making an inspection pursuant to this section.
Whoever violates this section is guilty of obstructing vehicle inspections, a misdemeanor of the second degree.

(a) No person shall knowingly present, display or orally communicate a false name, social security number or date of birth to a law enforcement officer who is in the process of issuing to the person a traffic ticket or complaint.
(b) Whoever violates this section is guilty of a misdemeanor of the first degree.

(a) No current public official, officer or employee of the City of Toledo shall knowingly, or with reason to know, use or attempt to use such official position to secure for such public official, officer, employee or others unwarranted privileges or exemptions which are of substantial value and which are not properly available to similarly situated individuals.
(b) Whoever violates this section is guilty of a misdemeanor of the second degree.
