525.19. Unauthorized wearing of police uniforms.

(a) No policeman, watchman, detective, constable, marshal or any other person other than a regular member of the Department of Police Operations of the City shall wear any uniform, badge, cap emblem, or buttons, the same as or closely simulating those worn by members of the City Department of Police Operations.

(b) Whoever violates this section is guilty of a misdemeanor of the fourth degree.
