2137.01. Seasonal positions.
   The following positions are hereby created and declared to be seasonal positions in the municipal service and the group to which each respective position is assigned is hereby approved by Council as follows:

2137.02. Hourly rate for seasonal positions.
   Commencing February 1, 1980 and thereafter, the basic hourly rate for each position specified in Section 2137.01 is hereby fixed as follows:

2137.03. Salary step progression for seasonal positions.
   Those persons employed as seasonal employees pursuant to the provisions of this chapter shall progress through the salary steps provided for their respective positions in accordance with the provisions of this Part Twenty-one-Personnel Relations and Municipal Employment pertaining to the salary step progression for all other employees.
   However, that a seasonal employee may be advanced in the salary range of the respective class to which his position has been allocated subject to the approval of the Mayor, Personnel and Civil Service Director and a representative of the Civil Service Commission based upon such employee's experience and satisfactory service.

2137.04. Salary step progression for part-time employees.
   Commencing April 2, 1965, every part-time employee who has worked a total of 2,080 hours in the same position shall be paid for the second step for the position; every part-time employee who has worked 2,080 hours in the second step shall be paid at the third step; and every part-time employee who has worked 2,080 hours at the third step shall be paid at the fourth step. A part-time employee, upon appointment to the same position on the permanent payroll, shall be credited with accumulated hours worked in the same position not to exceed 2,080 hours towards advancement in the step program. The payroll records maintained by the City Auditor shall be used to determine the number of hours an employee has worked in each step.
