The following positions are hereby created and declared to be Seasonal Programmer Positions in the Municipal Service and the group to which each respective position is assigned is hereby approved by Council as follows:

Commencing on April 10, 1984 and thereafter, the basic hourly rate for each position specified in Section 2137.05 is hereby fixed as follows:

Those persons employed as seasonal programmer employees pursuant to the provisions of this chapter shall progress through the salary steps provided for their respective positions in accordance with the provisions of this Part Twenty One - Personnel and Municipal Employment pertaining to the salary step progression for all other employees.
However that a seasonal programmer employee may be advanced in the salary range of the respective class to which this position has been allocated subject to the approval of the Mayor, Director, Personnel and Civil Service and a representative of the Civil Service Commission based upon such employee's experience and satisfactory service.
